Swedish Lidl Plus app

Any Swedes using (or trying to) LIDL Plus app?
I don’t know if it’s even important, but I can’t log in. Not on my Sailfish phone nor my Linux PC.
I had a long, very long session with a nice woman at my nearest Lidl shop, and she also gave up.
The app is working… no problem there, I just can’t login.
Can you?

Don’t know about the swedish one, but the Finnish one does work.

Finland here as well but have you tried “forgot password”? Lidl now requires 10 characters, alphanumeric + special - in March it was 8 alphanumeric.

Edit: My answer is about logging in (sign in with existing username and password that worked before), not creating an account (sign up as a new user).

I personally never managed to create an account via the app (just tried again now). And that is using my android phone… I never get the SMS that is sent with a code.

I use the german Lidl app. It took my some attemps until login worked, but after some tries it was succesfull and works now. Side notice is that when I start the app it opens, automatically minimizes and opens again.

As for several other apps that require login via browser connection I recommend having an Android browser installed (and set as default).

Yep, that is the only thing I’ve never tried, so thank you for the tip, I will try.
I’ve even talked to Lidl support people, including developers, but I don’t think they even understod that I’m not on a Android phone.

I couldn’t create an account in the app either, I had to do it on my PC.
Yesterday I also found out that I don’t need to log into the app, I can just give my phone number at the checkout (self-service) to get the discounts.
So I’ll probably stop using this app completely, after this.
It’s just another Android app that I don’t need.

Hm, in Germany I need to activate the coupons in the app. Nevertheless they are used if actived when you just use the phone number, yes.

Also Lidl Pay just works with the app, not by phone number.
