Heh, for bandcamp I wrote happycamper which is a downloader and player (with mpris support) which i’ve just fixed the dbus integration for. I know a generic server approach is another thing, but I do a lot of social surfing where it’s nice to simply hit a link, open in happycamper and download if it’s nice. Then it’s in the local library. I also buy physical media, so I can ‘upgrade’ the quality later…
