Storage space displayed incorrectly

REPRODUCIBILITY: always
OS VERSION: 5.1.0.11
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 III
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: new

DESCRIPTION:

In Settings > Storage > User data, Android app data is stated as 8,388,608.0 TB, which is obviously incorrect.

PRECONDITIONS:

None

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Select User data

EXPECTED RESULT:

The correct amount of storage used should be shown.

ACTUAL RESULT:

An obviously incorrect and physically impossible usage is shown.

MODIFICATIONS:

None. Android apps installed are WhatsApp, Threema, Signal and Sdui only.

As I have the same device running the same SFOS version, I checked out what mine shows – I don’t have this error.

I just received my Jolla 2026 (:partying_face: ) and while browsing the settings I also see weird numbers: the total used show far more (11.3GB) than the actual few MB visible in the list below:

But it’s actually the same in the terminal:

$ df -h .
