State of open sourcing components -> especially the weather app?

Hi,

does somebody know the state of the open sourcing announcements, made in July? I am especially interested in the weather app and i would like to know if this has been open sourced already, so somebody could finally replace the data provider with something that works? We are already in Q3, and nothing has happend, as far as i can tell.

Great question and I don’t remember if this has been addressed but you should definitely bring this app in next community meeting!

And as i am fan at the parties, if this was announced in July it means that it was announced during Q3 :wink: and there was holiday season in between, would guess some news before end of the year.
