REPRODUCIBILITY: 100%
OS VERSION: 4.4.0.64
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 II
UI LANGUAGE: Dutch/Nederlands
REGRESSION: I don’t know
DESCRIPTION:
When sending a SMS to multiple contacts, from the 2nd contact, text put in before selecting contact isn’t erased.
It looks like:
Peter
joJoey
boBob
Instead of bold italics it is just underscored, but I can’t do that on this forum, or at least I don’t know how.
PRECONDITIONS:
Having multiple contacts with name and number
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Open messages, new message
- Type a few letters and select contact from the drop down menu
- What you typed has been replaced by the name of the contact
- Repeat for a second recipient
- What you typed has not been replaced, but the contacts name has just been added.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Replace my typed text by the selected suggestion, just like it does with the first contact.
ACTUAL RESULT:
The recipients name is shown incorrectly.
MODIFICATIONS:
None, but I did install updates from terminal, because the UI prompted me to delete a lot of apps. Don’t think it is relevant, but here it is just to be sure.
