While this is perfectly fine for larger devices like laptops, it might become a bit too much stress on your poor smartphone if the network is very busy (have fun trying to run it at a University).

Thanks for the heads-up, I for one was not aware.

Unfortunately the use case of “trying to connect to a networked presentation device” of course has a high probability to be in an environment where there’s a “busy network”.
