So I just received my new Jolla C2 phone. I am very excited with it but I am facing a very annoying issue.
Sailfish OS has been updated to the latest version (5.0.0.67) as of today (01/05/2025).
Phone seems to “read” my SIM card and it also asked for PIN which was accepted.
However as the subject states I have network issues.
I am attaching a picture under “Connectivity” , “Cellular network”.
The white dot on the left side of 4G calling (VoLTE) is blinking.
What I have attempted so far:
- I chose network mode 4G and 3G. Did not help.
- I manually chose available networks. Didn’t help either.
- I know that my provider and SIM card are working because I just removed it from my old phone and inserted it in Jolla C2.
Any advice and support will be much appreciated!

Have you tried putting it in slot 1 & reboot?

Thanks a lot for responding!
I just did. Unfortunately the same issue persists. Any other ideas?
Open Terminal (Terminal-Icon appear in Applist when turning on Developer-Options) and type:
systemctl restart ofono

You should contact Jolla Support.
Have you ever tried without volte ?
Thank you all for responding.
Apparently the issue resolved itself (???)
I did absolutely nothing and it started to work. My best guess is it was a provider issue however the timing was suspicious, considering the SIM card was working perfectly fine moments before I insert it in Jolla C2.

Funny, the same just happened to me. Couple reboots, nothing. Waited for an hour, and it just started working again. I suspect the provider. These type of problems seem to come and go regardless of OS or hardware.
