Hi. First time user and hopefully a Sailfish OS user soon. I finally managed to create a Discourse account. The sign up process in Discourse has a bug somewhere. I couldn’t figure out any technical specifics, but basically it is stuck in an infinite loop where you have to enter your Jolla account (account.jolla.com) credentials over and over again - redirect loop between account.jolla.com and forum.sailfishos.org. I first created a Jolla account independently of Discourse by just visiting account.jolla.com directly.
I solved this issue by just clearing the forum.sailfishos.org cookies and local storage. Then finally the Discourse account was created. I’m observing this forum since 3 weeks already so Discourse had already tracked some activity in the cookies and local storage.
Posting this here in case other people plan to create an account and have the same infinite loop redirection problem as me.
