Hi there,
thought I open a new topic in hope of finding volunteers. I am working on a new app for switching and monitoring Shelly smart home devices over WiFi. It already plays nicely with 1PM Gen4 switches with power meter. Now I would like to get some real world feedback before publishing. If you happen to own a Shelly - for instance the famous 3EM or 2PM - and would like to share your experience with this beta version, kindly send me a PM. Looking forward.
As of today Shello app is published and can be found here, enjoy:
Big thank you to those who patiently gave feedback and helped bug hunting.
Thank you and congrats for the release of Shello app. ![]()
I been using the app for some time now and i fits my needs.
Another native app, nice!
Does it also work offline, with e.g. www.home-assistant.io/?
Are the sources available?
Thanks
There is a shelly Integration for HA. No need for shello.
That is correct, if you already have home assistant up and running on a dedicated server, no need for yet another app. On the contrary, Shello is for you if you prefer a quick and simple offline phone-based control and monitoring solution over complex home assistant server setups, and you use Shellys only.
In addition to what @tp.labs wrote, Quartermaster, the native Home Assistant application for Sailfish, is not exactly equal to the official Android or browser application. It works okay if you have a few devices and to quickly adjust something, but if you have a whole bunch of devices, it quickly becomes cluttered.
Thanks for your answer.
I read HA was the “thing” to centralize controls but don’t own/use one.
That’s great!
And are sources available? I didn’t find on openrepos nor with zypper.
Thanks for this great app!! ![]()
