I had the impression that it is necessary to create a new jolla account for a specific device category, to be able to register the device with the jolla account. When creating a new account the shop-discount is not available any more. Is this account separation still necessary?
It has never been necessary to register new accounts.
Some people recommend it for resale-ability of licences, that’s all.
