Using the Signal application, I was a bit shocked to find that pictures I sent ended up going out with 1600×900 resolution, pretty much irrespective of what I did. On earlier releases (I’m on 5.5.5 right now) it seemed to make a difference if you just inserted it into a discussion, or sent it as a file (that way the unchanged file was sent), it doesn’t make a difference any longer. I had to revert to making a copy which was not named as .jpg of my high-resolution image to get it across intact. Anyone else see this?
