The SecureGo plus App as a 2FA and confirmation app for different operations in my online bankig app is not working anymore. Since Friday, after the last software update to version 4.3.1, it has these problems.
The app always starts and it shows only a blue lock at a white background at the beginning and then usually crashes after 5-10 seconds. I learned from my bank that the current SecureGo plus app requires Android 11 at least but no specific Android services. I have a Sony Xperia 10 II with SF version 4.5.0.25 without Google services. So I already have the right version. Maybe that’s with the open boot loader. In the Google Play Store you can see that many users have the same problems (and that on a pure Android phone; most of them also with Android 11). - Does anybody know why it is not working anymore as expected?
No i don’t know, but first question that comes into mind is, have you tried installing microg?because it solved me quite a few problems with cards and bank account…
You can rule out the open bootloader of phone. AAS side has zero knowledge regarding what is the status of phone own bootloader. Newer AAS versions might fake it better tho
Is that the app for german vr banks? I can start it, and should now set it up, but had just installed it to test if it’s running at all, but Iwon’t activate it on my Xperia 10 III as I’m waiting for the J2.
I also deleted the old version on my Xperia 10 II and installed successfully the new one. Now I hope that Ithe registration is working without any trouble and I can use it as expected.
Updated SecureGo plus yesterday and it is working here on a 10ii without problems. But its on SFOS 5.1.0.11 and MicroG installed. For SFOS 5.x there have been some bigger steps made in the development of AAS.
Now my SecureGo Plus app is working as expected again. I deinstalled the old app from my Xperia 10 II. And installed the new version 4.3.1 from auroa store and asked my bank for a new activation code. Then I entered the new activation code and determined a new conformation password. I still have no google services installed. - I hope that the new version of the SecureGo Plus app is running without problems.
