Hi everyone. I have a problem. I just flashed my C2 with the new firmware (5.0.0.76), and now the screen rotation isn’t working anymore. No matter what I try—restarting, toggling rotation on and off, toggling home rotation on and off—it just won’t work. Does anyone else have this problem? I’m almost at my wits’ end. It was working perfectly fine before I flashed it…
What does CSD tool say?
Phew. Okay. Now it’s suddenly working again, as if nothing had happened. That’s weird… So, false alarm… Sorry. Hope it stays that way… ![]()
Not sure it’s connected but I noticed once every few months that sensorfwd is stuck and service restarts helps.
For some reason rotation on my C2 never works after a reboot until i perform:
systemctl restart sensorfwd.service
or starting sensor-test inside CSD-Tool
After update to (5.0.0.76) on my Xperia 10 III the screen suddenly stuck on landscape. When I start some applications it suddenly geos to portrait and again landscape. This is sometimes one or tw times a day. It did not happen before this update.
The service restarts fixes the problem but it takes more than five seconds and during that time the device is very slow.
This problem is for me older than 5.0.0.76. Maybe you are a happy one ![]()
What was your expectation?

You can also restart the screen in Settings / Sailfish Utilities at the end in the menu.
