anyone use 5g support smartphone on sailfishos? hows its works ?

SailfishOS doesn’t support 5G yet.
It’s in the works, and as of December 2023, Jolla had the following to say in a Community meeting
- There are 3-5 major stories which we’d still like to sort out for (rainemak, 08:32:08)
- the next release and 5G is one of them. So far 5G works on (rainemak, 08:32:08)
- Sailfish OS side but AppSupport plugin is not yet finalized. Half (rainemak, 08:32:08)
- cooked version is bad as that would break mobile data with (rainemak, 08:32:09)
- AppSupport. If we miss the next release, then target would be the (rainemak, 08:32:11)
- release after next.

Has anyone got 5G working with Fello, Sweden?
I’m not sure they have activated it for everyone yet. My colleague has their 3x surf special deal, and he got it - but a mere 2x surf peasant like myself has heard exactly nothing. If i log on to their website, there is a “switch to a 5G plan” button. So now i know they haven’t.

OK, thanks! I just found out that for me it’s activated, but no coverage where I live. Not even 4G+. 
200 meters away, there is full coverage.
