With how capable modern AI coding tools have become, I was wondering if bringing Flutter support to Sailfish OS could be a realistic community project.
Since Aurora OS is based on Sailfish OS and already has Flutter work ongoing (see their repository here: https://gitlab.com/omprussia/flutter), a lot of the foundation might already be there or adaptable.
Do we have any vibe coders in the community who would be interested in taking a look at this or exploring how much effort it would take to adapt/port it over? I think this would help the Sailfish community a lot to increase the app availibility.
