Sailfish native browser running wild

REPRODUCIBILITY (% or how often): several times, no pattern
BUILD ID = OS VERSION (Settings > About product): 3.4.0.24
HARDWARE (Jolla1, Tablet, XA2,…): Xperia 10 Dual SIM
UI LANGUAGE: Finnish
REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): Yes

DESCRIPTION: Every now and then the sailfish-browser stops responding. Shutting down and restarting the browser does not work, browser does not start any more. TOP shows the browser using 98% to 99% of CPU. I had to “kill -9” the browser PID and after that it can be started again.

PRECONDITIONS: Applications used besides the SF-browser are justr email client and Sports Tracker but no pattern not found

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Don’t know, it is random

We have it happening here on two XA2s, so I always have Crest open to kill the process.

Can also confirm this on X2A. You need to kill the browser process then clear the cache and it will work again. For a while :slight_smile:
