I’ve been wanting to try out sailfish for a while now, but I don’t have any device that has a method of getting a custom recovery installed on it besides a verizon LG G3. The only other phone I have is a Nokia 8 V 5G UW I just got, my old iPhone 6s and the rest are Windows Phones that I don’t have anymore.
The hardware of the G3 is similar to that of the OnePlus One, so I’m thinking the build for that could be modified to run on a G3. I don’t have much skill with programming, but I will be willing to test out a build someone makes or try some steps to force the image to flash to the device.
I don’t have much money, and I can’t find any second hand devices that have sailfish ports that I could afford. Anything that could get me closer to this would help. I’ve got it on Lineage OS 17.1 right now, but if I wanted stock android 10 I would just stick with my Nokia and not even bother with the G3.
