Root/ SU and sudo on jolla C2

I see that there are several home directories, but only my user, who has no name but defaultuser… How may I enable root account, sudo, etc… or permissions as admin for my defaultuser account?
And the terminal is only available from locked screen, is there a way to change that, and include it in the app listing, instead of termux?

set password in developer settings and use devel-su in terminal

what? no? no app is available from locked screen beside camera

there’s no sailfish app called termux. Its android app.

I know that about Termux ofcourse, but Terminal is not visible in the app list and my lockscreen asked me to include three selected apps in a pulldown menu… I guess I have to remove all the android stuff and reset the phone into a pure linux computer soon… It is beginning to grow now when Chum and Storeman are available in addition to jollastore…

maybe enabling developer settings makes it show up? do you have them enabled?

Aha! Thanks! Enabling developer settings solved it.

Now just set password for ssh connection in there and then if you type devel-su (instead of sudo) in terminal you can use that password (no its not your lockscreen pin code i have no clue why anyone would think that)
