Same here, has recurred a few times, just now it is really stuck, hard-rebooted 4 times in a row, no luck, still stuck on ‘Enter security code’ and the rotating circle animation.
Maybe fifth time is the charm?
Ten times, plugged into the charger and also tried entering wrong codes a bunch of times.
Very frustrating.
Just basic shutdown without vol up always worked for me (with 10 III) eventually. Only once it took three shutdowns, if i remember correctly.
I hope you get it working.
