Reset Sailfish OS without GUI

I shut off Developer mode on my PinePhone Pro and it completely removed my whole system. Is there any way I can reset the Phone from the CLI? I am in the United States so I do not know if I can just download a new copy of it.

On a development note, there should be a warning that states what will happen when you shut off development mode.

Can’t help you here, but i do guess it’s the pinephone, i disabled the developer mode multiple times on officially supported devices and never had a single problem with it…

You can use the flash it script available here. Read the wiki beforehand to make sure you do so safely: Sailfish OS Dont Be Evil · GitHub

What CLI do you still have access to?

Of course you can. Don’t make yourself more helpless than necessary.

It’s not like that’s what happens on official ports, so probably not going to be added.

The only CLI access I have is to the firmware one that appears when I boot. However I cannot get a keyboard so it would be hard to use.

I contacted Pine64 and they sent me the following link to download the OS.

I don’t think this happens exactly as described. Even on a community port. You probably left out some intermediate steps or otherwise crucial information.

BTW, if the phone still boots (partially) you can usually get in via USB & telnet. For the next time.
