[Release notes] Tampella 5.0.0.62

So I finally reflashed 5.0.0.62 on top of Android 13 (Xperia 10 III). Experiences so far:

Pluses:

  • No problems with the install procedure.
  • No color banding / under contrast thing anymore, what ever it is. (On initial install on top of Android 11 it didn’t occur. After reflashing Android 11 and reinstalling SFOS it suddenly happened.)
  • Finally there is no (approximately a second or two) delay/lag after opening the settings menu. That was super annoying.
  • YouTube (for Android) works again.
  • UI feels generally snappy again. (On some 4.x update everything started to feel sluggish.)

Minuses:

  • Last few versions of OP Mobiili (for Android) won’t start.
  • Sometimes some Android apps start as closed/minimized on application grid. The cover needs to be tapped again for the app to open.

I’ll be reporting more after some time of use and if anything comes up.

Despite the minuses, I would recommend updating to the latest version.
