Would it be still save to expand the root partition of C2 after the update to 5.0.0.55?

For now the only official way is via reflashing. That erases all user data. I’m not sure if any such procedure is safe without a backup.

I am a bit afraid to update since I didn’t have time to backup and expand root +enable fastboot flashing.

To me it’s a bit contradictory to not have a regular and tested backup method and be on Early access.
