Do nothing, ignore the error messages, simply proceed!
Thank you. I ignored the messages and the update went OK.
I see, but maybe this is still depending on the operator somewhat.
Currently I’m also not in my home country. But I’ll report back when I’m back and have more experience with this.
Hello,
I’m sorry if the question was asked before, is it planned to have a newer version of the web browser?
The actual version cannot work with the latest nextcloud talk, so to add an account, the page opens without login/password.
Also in many free wifi signup login, the page is not showing.
Or maybe, as a workaround, is there an option to switch the default browser to firefox ?
Thank you very much
There is a native Nextcloud Talk app. It works just fine. No need web browser authentication.
There is already a test build available of a new version, look for the ESR91 thread. This version is far more compatible to most websites.
Thank you very much, is it a complete app, works with video and audio calls?
I tried this app some months ago and it only handled text messages, not video or audio calls.
Thank you, but this is not a solution I am obliged to wait for a newer version of the browser …
The android app might work now with newer webview, previously the login part would not show, with updated webview it should (unless they really need bleeding edge but that would make the app unusable on a ton of android devices)
Thank you @rubdos and @balta I will sure try it, as now i am using the android firefox on almost all websites.
Juhuuu!!! My ING Banking App is finally working again on my Xperia 10 III. Thanks a lot for fixing this bug. For several months, nearly half a year, I was not able to use this App. It showed exactly the behaviour which is described under Release Notes for 4.6.0.15, issues reported by the community. Feels like Christmas and Easter on the same day.
Thank you, I can confirm that the new webview shows the login screen of the nextcloud hub 9
I ran into update problems. The helpful message was “SFOS could not be updated. Please try again later.”
With olf’s sfos-upgrade
I got better info: an out of disk space error for /opt, much like here:
I do. Angelfish pulls all of KDE Plasma (?I guess?) into /opt and after uninstalling it these dependencies need to be removed manually.
The packages are all in the chum repos and IIRC they all start with opt-qt5-
or opt-kf5-
I weaseled them out with zypper packages --unneeded
and I had to repeat that ~10 times: remove, check for orphans, remove again etc.
Maybe there would have been a better way - but I couldn’t just remove all unneeded because some are system packages.
Maybe direc85’s command would have helped:
pkcon search qt --filter installed | grep 5.15
All good now. Thanks to @olf and all SFOS developers!
What is the current behaviour of Android Apps are background tasks still killed when closing an app by swiping down instead of uding the back button?
No.

Hello, any news about when we can have these betas to test them please?
I have no news about the schedule, unfortunately.
