Rainviewer does not show map

DESCRIPTION:

Upon starting the application, there is no map loaded, only a black screen is given with a play button and a time axis on the bottom.
Mapbox GL is installed and maps are loading without problems in different navigation apps, such as Pure Maps and OSM Scout on the same device (Xperia 10 iii)

PRECONDITIONS:

Rainviewer installed via Storeman or Chum

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open the app
  2. See that no map is loaded within 5 min

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Map is loaded and display within the Rainviewer app after app launch. See Screenshots on the Rainviewer Storeman / OpenRepos or Chum entry

ACTUAL RESULTS:

No map loaded and displayed, only black emptiness

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: no
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: none specified

Do you have OSMscout Server maps installed? It’s the same for me if I select that.
If I select OpenFreeMap Bright - presto it works.

Have a look in Settings…

You’re right, with OSM Server maps are loading.
I am sorry that I have overseen this dependency.
Therefore, how to proceed? Close this bug report? This is my first bug report, so please excuse me, if this is a stupid question.
