Pure Maps and Osm Scout on Jolla 1?

Hi,

I discovered the Jolla 1 that I never used before.
I did settings-reset it and went all the way up with upgrades to 3.4.0.24.
I installed GPSinfo and Chum from Openrepos via the browser launched from the terminal with the rpm files urls.

Unbelievably, J1 found a first GPS fix in 197 seconds. Which is against all I believed as I thought it should need 12,5 minutes minimum to download GPS data (as it was sleeping since years)…

Then, I ran Chum and installed Pure Maps + OSM Scout with zypper.

When I run Pure Maps from the terminal, it says module “QtPositioning” version 5.4 is not installed

When I run OSM Scout frome the terminal, it says module “Sailfish.Share” is not installed

After some searches on the forum and with zypper search, I’m drying…
Would any of you have a suggestion?

For OSM Scout, try this version: OSM Scout for Jolla 1 | OpenRepos.net — Community Repository System

As stated here, Pure Maps requires SFOS 4.0 or later starting with 2.7.5. Try an older version from Openrepos.

Beautiful! Many thanks @nephros . Just the kick I needed.
The Jolla 1 is a very cute little machine, btw.
Looks like a perfect companion for a walk into the wild! (well, e-wildness :slight_smile: )
