DESCRIPTION:

Hello.
This is about a Sony Xperia 10 V.
I have a problem with the battery charge indicator, which does not reflect changes in charge levels and shows the same battery percentage all day, neither decreasing as the day progresses nor increasing after plugging in the phone charger.
To understand the actual battery charge, I have to restart the phone, and only then does the current level become apparent.
In this way, the indicator shows 100% until a point when the phone shuts down on its own, and I am unable to start charging the battery in time before this happens.
Consequently, the charging threshold does not activate on time, nor does the power-saving mode.

Oh, come on. Did you even try to look for release notes or other issues?

To be slightly more helpful, this is one of a number of issues that has been outstanding for more than a year now with no official fix available. You can however make the battery indicator work by flashing the v4b binary blobs.
