is there a difference from normal keyboard? i’ll go check the settings. i had EN and NL selected from before, i didn’t change it after installing the en_US (and I was typing in EN to test it), i know i don’t have NL presage keyb, i’ll have to fix me an nl_BE one and find some vocabularies or something
there is no different setting for me, no way to select “presage”, i just had dutch and english selected for both virtual and physical and english is the default. should there be extra entries for presage keyboards?
I also just did the last chum presage update and it works fine after reboot. Did not need to touch anything. But, I am on 5.0.0.62 on a volla 22. Is chum already at 5.0.0.70? Perhaps there’s some mismatch?

Maybe something is missing in your installation, check here:
Normally, it should install all dependencies when installing a presage keyboard. In my case, it also doesn’t work on the first try, but then it works when installing the German keyboard again.
interesting… also, where did you get the emoji+ keyboard? I also need this one.
good to know presage should be there, i’ll relook at all the dependencies ( are these 4 not enough? libpresage1, presage-data, presage, presage-lang-en_US ; also there seems to be older ones that i should not install?)… i’ll reinstall the en_US one and then reboot again…
I noticed did not have keyboard-presage-en_US, but it couldn’t install because maliit-plugin-presage did not want to install, because presage-data was not available as a requirement.
but presage-data is installed… ???
i tried zypper instead of pkcon and now it becomes clear:
maliit-plugin-presage and presage are not compatible with eachother… i donno which is the one i need, but this time, i chose the maliit-plugin-presage and the keyboard, but it uninstalled libpresage1, presage and presage-data … time to reboot and see if it works???
after installing emoji+ i seem to have the presage keyboards too and predictive text is working… next step, contribute a nl_BE one and find some dictionaries
