Predictive text input buggy on Xperia 10 II under 4.2

DESCRIPTION:

Predictive text input works for a short time when typing a message. After a few words, it is not possible to insert a predicted word anymore. It can be clicked, is highlighted, but not inserted into the text.

Following a restart, it works again until it fails again.

I can reproduce this in part but typically, touching the highlighted word again causes “recovering” of the text prediction. It is definitly a strange (buggy) experience, though

It’s mentioned in the [Release notes] Verla 4.2.0 known issues, and there is also a workaround.

Thanks for pointing me to that. I’ve overlooked it in the known issues. Good to know there’s an easier workaround than a restart.
However, it did not happen on my phone when dragging down - just simple typing.
