I know that when I press the mute button during a call, both the sound and the vibration stop—if I’m not mistaken

Why you don’t turn phone upside down, calling stops immediately. It is available settings > gestures > Flip to silence calls and alarms.

This does not work either, this feature seems to be broken too.

Also the usage of another feature is not the solution for an existing regression.

Is Do Not Disturb enabled? And silence mode? Please answer by editing your bug report
