That’s too bad! Can you post the log output from Patchmanager? I’ll try to fix it when I’m back from vacation.

Someone commented on OpenRepos that it works on 5.1 at least.

tried if it will be quick fix like in some other patches what does not work on 5.2 (mostly new lines or splitting line into two and so)

but main problem here is that jolla removed /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/HorizontalPredictionListView.qml

tiny changes in original files:

/usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/PasteInputHandler.qml
they added line import com.jolla.keyboard 1.0

/usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/Popper.qml
only newline added after id:

I often use hug emoji() which is unavaible in stock and in your emoji patch. Can you plis add it?

that might become an issue because I modified that file to show the list of previously used emojis… I’ll have to investigate how they replaced it. I’m still traveling so it will take at least another month until I get time to work on my patches.

It’s already there! If you don’t find it, you can tap the little magnifying glass icon in the bottom right corner of the emoji keyboard and use the search feature to find it (just type “hug”). Make sure you’re on the first page of the emoji keyboard, otherwise you won’t see the alphabet keys for searching.

A quick look indicates it has just changed location:

old: /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/HorizontalPredictionListView.qml
new: /usr/lib64/qt5/qml/com/jolla/keyboard/HorizontalPredictionListView.qml

Replacing that path in the patch unfortunately does make it fail in other places, but at least the component is still there.

(Careful to use either lib or lib64 in the diff file, and not mix them).
