Discussion topic for the the patch PC-like Keyboard layout

Main difference from Jolla’s implementation is that numbers row is added at the top with backspace button on the right. Useful for X10 and X10ll form-factor

I like it, but there’s 2 forward-slash keys when using it for certain things, (the one on bottom is a comma in some other instances…), and 2 sets of brackets sometimes, when switching to symbols…

Thanks for your observations!

  1. it’s a context aware button with diff values like comma or @ or /. Not sure, maybe just remove it, maybe it’s not needed really…
  2. looks like Jolla KB does not support different sets of buttons for symbols which is surprising. Will look into it…

what I would like is a keyboard with fn keys, like ctrl, esc, etc… You can do it with XT9, but I haven’t figured out how to get it with presage…
