Paketit -application of Matkahuolto can't use Bluetooth

UI LANGUAGE: Suomi (user: fi_FI, os: fi_FI.utf8)

DESCRIPTION:

Bluetooth is not working in application.

PRECONDITIONS:

Paketit -app of Matkahuolto is an android application.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

I can’t enable bluetooth to connect and open locker to pickup my package (A locker of Matkahuolto needs bluetooth). This happens every time. I think bluetooth in Android app is a missing feature.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

The app would enable bluetooth when i turn it on from the app.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Only: “Error! Please enable Bluetooth in order to open the locker”

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: yes
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: none specified

Android App Support doesn’t pass Bluetooth to Android apps on Sailfish OS. This is a known limitation and likely won’t be resolved anytime soon due to technical challenges.
