Pairing a mouse and keyboard via bluetooth doesn't respond when paired

REPRODUCIBILITY: 100%
OS VERSION: 4.4 (4.4.0.72)
HARDWARE: X10 III
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: Unsure as only just started using this current version.

DESCRIPTION:

I am pairing a bluetooth mouse and keyboard if I want to work in the terminal for instance and ease.

They both pair fine but they do not work on this mobile with this software.

They work fine on my GP6PRO with CalyxOS with Android 13 and laptop etc.

PRECONDITIONS:

Pair devices prior to testing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Pair a bluetooth mouse and or keyboard to mobile
  2. Ensure successfully paired
  3. Test to see if they operate successfully

EXPECTED RESULT:

I should be able to use mouse / keyboard paired via bluetooth.

I am trying to use these as unable to use USB options on this mobile.

ACTUAL RESULT:

They pair successfully but do not work at all. I cannot connect the devices after pairing. It shows connecting but then displays a notification “Could not connect. Make sure the device is turned on…”

Not all missing features are bugs. Do try and separete the two.

The keyboard should work, the mouse should not afaik.

I am curious to know if it is possible to pair a mouse to use with a vnc client, does anyone know?

I seem to recall there were some patches that made the mouse work -for a tablet port- but i might be completely wrong.
