The new Jolla phone. Can’t add outlook/ hotmail to jolla emails or contacts. After login gives error for Exchange 365? How to add hotmail?

The consumer Outlook / Hotmail / Live services are unfortunately not compatible with the same protocol as the Microsoft Enterprise services, and we currently don’t have a solution for this.
There are couple of existing threads regarding this.
As a workaround, the Microsoft Outlook Android app, which you can install from Aurora store, seems to work.

Oh darn. I used like 2 hours to struggle with this issue until I came here… phew..

Hmm, took a while before I came here looking for why it didn’t work.
Tried a number of times, but if it’s not supported (yet) thats very unfortunated, thunderbird works fine on mint so was hoping the native mail client would also handle my outlook account.
So does K9 and Thunderbird.
Can confirm K9 works with the new JP. Took way too long to figure out how to get past the oauth-bs, though.
