On my fresh updated Xperia 10, in settings / Top Menu, there is the switch for AAS on/off now twice present and selectable if visible or not.
One in the first section ‘Switches’, the last item, and
a second time in the last section ‘Info’, the last item, same place as it always was.
Why now double?
May this be responsible for often reported strange behavior on AAS? (boot loop, crashes, doesn’t start on enabling, doesn’t start on device boot,…)
Is it possible to remove the AAS switch in first section ‘Switches’ by some tweak in the qml files?

Do you have any non-sefault settngs things installed? Like Install History, or Swipe lock?
I remember sometimes this double button thing can happen - don’t remember the solution though.
If you have such things installed, try uninstall and reinstall, maybe it helps.

In the top menu settings you can switch one of them off or both. But the second one is unnecessary, since the press and hold on the first one opens a context menu ‘Go to Settings’.

No I haven’t.
I have to disable the first one because it would begin a new row and I’m going out of room on the pulldown menu.
So second one is now enabled as always before. It seems to work now and so I’m happy hoping this will stay so
