I have a intex aqua fish running sailfish 3.2.19 with some whatsapp backups on it.
The phone has no access to internet.
The backup files are .crypt12, apparently there should be also a key to decrypt the backup and access my old messages but I cannot find on the filesystem, any suggestion?
Did you try wa-crypt-tools, section “Where do I get the key(file)?” or some of the tips in (closed) issues of that repository?
There is simply no folder as indicated there (or key file).
I also checked on my Xperia 10III running the latest and greatest, sailfish and whatsapp versions, and still no key under /data/data/com.whatsapp
I don’t see anything relevant in the closed issues, did you?
