A news, maybe not interesting, but I managed to change the battery to the little old Xperia AX2 and it came back to life. Some problems with the battery that had swollen and was glued to the device. Now however it is fine and the phone works. 
I am writing this post for those who might be discouraged from repairing their AX2.

Congrats! Now Iām doing the same and have ordered 4 spare part batteries for the Sony Xperia 10. Using a good hairdryer it IS possible to open the device. Instructions are available in the net and on YT. Wanna also encourage all users who have similar problems.
