Does it suppirt waydroid?
Yes, it supports Waydroid.
The picture shows waydroid running, doesnt it? How long does the tablet work once fully charged? I assume that browsing the net is fine with either sfos browser and angelfish?
How good are Lenovo supporting device unlocking/flashing/binaries?
Re: the global release of a refreshed Legion Tab:
Volla is publishing a tablet and announced Ubuntu touch support for it:
https://volla.online/de/blog/files/march-update-24.html (only german language)
I would love to see Sailfish on that…
Less painfull than the German translation
Don’t we all? Is there a pre order option?
I’ve been waiting for almost ten years for a Sailfish tablet (ordered two times and none of them were delivered).
Now I would actually be happy with a Ubuntu Touch one.
The blog says Preorder starts from april
They should really go for an official cooperation with Volla. Even that Volla is small, they achieve to get the hardware for their “software”. Jolla has the “software” but not the hardware. So it could be a win win situation. Jolla gets hardware, Volla a higher amount of devices which results in cheaper prices. Its Gigaset hardware, so european quality, and gor sure there would be a bigger community for Volla phones and tablets with SFOS. So actually i don’t see any risk in such a cooperation
I wonder if the tablet is also gigaset hardware. I wasn’t aware that they have tablets in their product portfolio
2024 release of the Lenovo 8.8" gaming tablet:
2025 and every one else is getting involved in small tablets again:
OnePlus Pad 3 Mini with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2:
Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4) with Qualcomm SM8750-AB Snapdragon 8 Elite:
Xiaomi Redmi K Pad with Mediatek Dimensity 9400+:
Honor 8" tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite:
Well, We’ve already have a tablet port that it works like a charm and it’s not included in this list: Xiaomi Xpad 6
apologies, this should indeed have been added to my thread a good while back.
I 've got an option to get a XIAOMI PAD 7 or a XIAOMI PAD 7 Pro.
or a
XIAOMI Redmi Pad SE 11" or a XIAOMI Redmi Pad Pro 12.1"
Is there a SFOS port available for one of these devices?
Thanks!
i think you would need to ask the more prolific authors of SFOS ports. Mal or Mister Magister occur to me as someone that has never used a port - sure there are others.
No, only option is Xiaomi Pad 6.
