choose SETTINGS-APPS-CAMERA there is no possibility to choose my mounted SD Card “Speicher: Der gewählte Speicher ist nicht verfügbar. Der interne Speicher wird stattdessen verwendet.”
In other apps sd-card works fine.

I can’t find ANY possibility to choose something regarding storage folder in camera app!

it’s (theoretical) possible in “SETTINGS” swipe to the right “APPS” tap on “CAMERA” … et violla
It worked fine till Sailfish 4.x
Even there is no possibility to uninstall an reinstall camera-app (wich probably will solve the problem)

The item “Speicher” (Storage) should have the text “Device memory” also when there is no memory card inserted in the phone. This is OS release 4.2.0.21.
Would unmounting/remounting and/or rebooting the phone help?
Can apps like the Sailfish File Browser save files to the card?
Right, release 4.2.0.21 but it was the same since Koli.
mount/umount doesn’t help, reboot similarly
data access is fine on sd-card (several audio players, videos, even andoid apps use sd-card in r/w mode)
Solved, thank you so much @treeman ! found settings now and set it to memory card.
