not sure if i did test correctly but: xperia 10, 3.4 os.
dev mode and remote on.
lock phone with double click. click to wake up, ise fingerprint to unlock. all fine

This thread seems to be about unlocking administrative settings with a finger print (as opposed to a security code), not about unlocking the phone from standby.

I agree this is a bit annoying sometimes, but the current behaviour is common practice, and actually does make sense from a security point of view (and forces you to actually remember the code).

It would be nice if it was made clear on the lock screen(s) when finger print is accepted and when it is not.

When I first read I thought why the h… would one like to unlock remote ssh connections via fingerprint on the remote device~

But sebix gave correct answer and attah the background

This is really something I would like Jolla to add (or be patched?).
