DESCRIPTION:

Not able to share files, e.g. pictures in MMS.

EXPECTED RESULT:

Open window showing app that can be used

ACTUAL RESULT:

Error message: No app available for file sharing

Do you have any third-party sharing plugins installed?

That could be the issue, but I do not know what kind of app that could be. Is it a SailfishOS app or could it be an android app?
Could it be Chum or microg?

You can start with the ones mentioned in the release notes of 4.3 under Notification concerning apps from Open Repos

Typical candidate would be ghostcloud additionals

I have GhostCloud installed and have tried Additionals long time ago but that didn’t work for me. Uninstalled Additionals and had no issue with File Sharing.

Hi. I have the opposite problem: there are too many apps to choose from. This is 4.4.0-development.

I guess that the issue with to many apps will be corrected in the future.
Right now I working with a reinstall and that takes many hours, far from finish (only half Finnish :slight_smile: )yet.

I had the same problem, went to /usr/lib/nemo-transferengine/plugins and removed all 3rd party plugins (had depecher,whisperwish and ghostcloud plugins). Reboot was required but now sharing works.
