Could be, I generally don’t watch videos on my phone, my issue with Angelfish was pretty much that it runs in its own system inside the OS and largely isn’t integrated with it. You can’t, for example, copy stuff into clipboard.

Also has some very questionable ‘features’ (systemd services specific to one single handset, messing with CPU governor for example which has nothing to do with the browser) bundled in, doubt most ppl installing it are signing up for a bunch of xperia 10II hacks/tweaks, angelfish is a much safer alternative browser to recommend

I agree. Bank apps should not have dirty trackers. My bank ASN has two trackers that I do not except. That’ts why I only use an identifier for banking. Recently they asked me to identify myself with passport and face id. No face id for me! They sent someone from an outsourced company specialised in identification. I had to log in on their website. This site had a Google Capcha and a lot of trackers. I complained and finally I got a special code. At home they made a picture of my passport. Rediculous.
We can’t expect from everyone this kind of resistance.
Not using G, A and MS is a process that takes time.

Will NewPipe and ZenBrowser work on the Jolla C2?
NewPipe still used to work on the C2 last week, when I tried it for fun again ( I use the Jolla 2 as my everyday’s phone now).

And anyway, they will always find a way to complete your profile. What you describe is exactly why I refuse to use e.g. PainPal. They are gathering/completing profiles on behalf of the fucking NSA.
That’s how they fucked me on my tablet refund… because I refused to give them photo ID. And they just gave me the finger when I complained.

Cannot get Säästöpankki Tunnistus to work, tried “Google Play” and “Google Play Store” as install source. After typing the code from SMS message installation is still complaining that installed outside Google Play Store. Any hints to help?
I could install the app from Aurora store on Jolla C2. Not being a customer I cannot test the app fully but ending normally to the phase where username is requested “Syötä Säästöpankin käyttäjätunnuksesi”
Where people moves their cloud files from google or icloud? I would like to have native solutions for handing files and pictures. Proton, Filen.io or something like that. I have local Nextcloud but some other would be good to have also. Any suggestions?
What makes a globally accessible Nextcloud not enough?

You should be able to add a Dropbox or OneDrive account. Also the Android Proton Drive application works Proton Drive: Cloud Storage - SailfishOS Compatibility

I haven’t got yet Nextcloud connectivity working with native Jolla tools either. rclone is the way to sync stuff but how to see my Nextcloud instance (?). I see, that Jolla has account for Nextcloud available but haven’t succeeded with that yet..
What doesn’t work in setting up your Nextcloud connection? I never had problems with that.
Do you use Two Factor Authentication?

These syncings are failing but get connection into Nextcloud server. I have Nextcloudpi in use.
Maybe these file paths are not ok or something.
I don’t have 2FA in use.
EDIT: Seems that backup file sending to Nextcloud fails.
Process for Säästöpankki Tunnistus goes like this (if you have working app in Android phone):
You give your Säästöpankki ID in Sailfish Phone Tunnistus after selected to use working Tunnistus app in other phone, you approve this “log in” in working Tunnistus app in other phone. This works well. Later in the process the app sends code to your registered phone number to be typed in the app. After typing the code Sailfish Phone Tunnistus app tells you that you use app outside from Google Play and fails.
So you cannot test it without already having access to bank.

Now I get ok backup log but I don’t find any backup file from Nextcloud. Where it could be or does this line in log means, that everything not ok?

Just go the ddg site and then you add it without config fidling.
