Please test the updated version 0.9.8 from
https://build.sailfishos.org/package/show/sailfishos:chum:testing/neuntrainer
It should now not eat parts of words any more, and the learning has been made more robust (hopefully).

I wanted to update from 0.9.7 (currently installed) to 0.9.8, but Chum says: No update available!
edit: I HAVE updated the repo, but there is nothing to update.
Seem to work fine for me, but I wonder where that little list saying Learned: *
disappeared?
Youâll need to download rpm and side load.
https://repo.sailfishos.org/obs/sailfishos:/chum:/testing/5.0_aarch64/noarch/harbour-neuntrainer-0.9.8+git2-1.13.1.bso.noarch.rpm
âŚor maybe enable test repo.
I restore it in the latest build
Indeed you did, and it seem to work nicely. Thank you for your work!
Btw⌠what is the new menu entry âKeyboard Settingsâ supposed to do? Upcoming feature?
Damn it. Missing sailjail permission.
It opens Settings on the Text Input/Keyboard settings page.
So you can do the reset thing.
I reset the learned words in both English and Dutch. The strange misspelled words were still there.
Then I found the file ânl-user.txtâ in /home/defaultuser/.local/share/okboard with the wrong spellings. I could edit it, and that helps.
Iâll go though it again, and âen-user.txtâ.
It seemed there are some passwords in there, too.
The Jolla word prediction always suggest a lot of senseless 2 letter suggestions after entering the first 2 letters of a word. This is sucking! Entering 1 or 3 letters mostly works fine, but when entering 2 letters itâs a disaster.
Those files is for OKBoard users only. They donât exist for others.
