Native Anki App

Hello,

I’m brand new to Sailfish OS. And now I would like to know if there is a native Anki app for Sailfish OS.

I don’t think so. Which is strange as this would be quite a neat project for someone willing to learn developing for the platform.

There were few apps written for Harmattan, that is the original Nokia 9.

If you activate Android support the Android Anki app, AnkiDroid works very well.

Thank you! But I was explicitly thinking of the native Anki because of some special functions. I got it to work with support on the Librem 5. Now I would like to continue using it when I switch to Sailfish OS.

There is an old version of Anki developed for the Nokia N9. With some patience and following these tutorials, it may be possible to port this app to Sailfish.

Edit: and don’t forget, that there is an web version of Anki which works quite good!

I converted the databases to mnemosyne databases and then just used nemosyne

Correct. However, the web version has much more limited functionality.

That sounds interesting because it is possible to import Anki cards into Mnemosyne.
