Mobile Data messed up after Sauna and 5G-try [solved]

Provider: O2 Germany
OS-version: Sauna
Device: 10III

After update all seemed to work well a few days. Then I tried to find out if there’s 5G around and enabled it. It didn’t do anything, so I went back to “prefer 4G”.
Since then I have massive problems with half the internet. Some sites (it’s related to sites, not to services) aren’t responding at all, others work normally. Some take eternally to establish a connection.

Even my VPN (on own server) fails while trying to connect it, so it’s not a DNS-issue (configuration is just with ipv4). After switching off WLan AND mobile data and then switching mobile data back on, I can at least reach my VPN, which is a workaround, but not a satisfying solution.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

Edit: just tested the “route” command, needs around 30 seconds to complete. Interface is named “rmnet_data1”

Ypu do not explicitly say it, but i guess you tried rebooting?

That was my first idea, but wasn’t helpful.
After the update to the latest version, I need to reboot significantly more often.

Okay, I just deleted

/home/.system/var/lib/connman/cellular_...number...context1

-folder completely, rebooted, found the folder newly created, switched mobile data off and on again and now it seems to be working as normal and expected. Hopefully keeps on with it.

But if anybody knows what I did (I don’t) any hint is still appreciated.
