[Miniguide] Set a custom account image

Just a very quick guide on how to set a custom icon for an account:

Open a shell and become a privileged user:

devel-su -p

Note the -p, it’s important!

List the available accounts:

ag-tool list-accounts

From the list, note the number in the first column. That’s the account ID.
Now, not all services support setting an icon, but for example Email accounts do.

To list available settings of an account do (assuming 9 is the account ID you want):

ag-tool list-settings 9

For an email account, you will see this in the list:

iconPath = image://theme/graphic-service-generic-mail

This is the setting we want to change.

But first we need to list the services the account has. We know in this example that it is Email but we need the internal name. So:

ag-tool list-services 9
Service type Service name
------------ ------------
e-mail email

With the internal name we can now:

ag-tool update-service 9 email string:iconPath=/home/nemo/Pictures/logo.png

And done!

Now for completeness we exit the privileged shell session:

exit # (or Ctrl-D)

Note that the image won’t show up in the Accounts section of Settings, but in the case of an email account you will see it in the Email App.
