Microsoft Translator doesn't download offline languages

I wanted to install Microsoft Translator on Xperia 10 / SFOS 4.5.0.25 / Appsupport, the app is first try installed from locally stored apk file and second try from Aurora Store. Installs without any problems and runs. Online translations work. But downloading offline languages doesn’t work. Endless spinning wheel and no data download. Both installation tries the same result.
App version is 4.0.542
Last time installation worked was on SFOS 4.5.0.24 in summer 2024.
App worked fine until I broke SFOS last week.
Have now fresh flashed 4.5.0.24 and immediately updated to 4.5.0.25.
All apps, SFOS and Android, do work fine as before except MS Translator - see above.

Any ideas, what can be the reason?

Does not address original problem, but the app speech-note has a translation feature that uses offline models

I tried speech note, but old Xperia 10 seems to be not powerful enough for it. App worked, but much too slow, so not usable. Regarding M$ Translator, it seems they changed their policy since the last year in a way that I don’t want to agree. So I look happily forward to a future life without M$. This is finished for me.
