For the past few days, my Jolla C2 (5.0.0.70) has been acting strangely.
It randomly changes the sound output volume on its own, and I suspect there is a problem with the audio jack.
The internal microphone is very noisy, to the point that people I’m talking to can’t hear me, and the same thing happens when I record an audio file.
But there’s no problem with an external microphone.
However, this may also be related to the jack.
Do you know if there is any software for testing hardware under SFOS?
But maybe the problem is software-related?
Has anyone else encountered these problems with the C2?

In Settings → About tap fast 5 times on version ad CSD will open to test HW. It’s also posssible to start it from command line.

I ran all the audio tests.
I discovered that there are two microphones.
Neither of them works.
It’s strange that both microphones could malfunction at the same time!
I’m at a loss.
Not strange as analog front end could start to malfunction. So I guess it’s HW. I’m sorry.

Hmm, the Jolla C2 really feels fragile, and it lives up to its reputation…
It’s the first phone I’ve ever bought new, and it lasted two months. I’m a little disillusioned.
So now I’m on the hunt for an Xperia 10III, because I’ve really taken to the Sailfish OS.
I’m also going to contact Jolla, maybe the warranty will work.

Did they fix the battery drain issue with Xperia 10III ?
