Messages (SMS) sent when phone is off are not received when turned on

Greetings!

If someone sends me a message (SMS) when my phone is off, I don’t get the message or any notification when I turn the phone back on. The messages just disappear somewhere.

I already called the provider and they told me their logs tell them that the messages are delivered.

I have a Jolla C2 with the current firmware 5.0.0.72 running. The problem I experience has been there since I got the phone last march (dunno which 5.x version) and is only existing on this phone. When changing the phone I get the messages when turning on again.

Is this an already known bug? Is there a setting I need to fix/changes? Any help is appreciated.

Are you using VoLTE?

Does anything change if you disable that?

Which language? Both UI and message? Is this 100% reproducible?

You should make a proper bug report (here in the forums).

Hey! No, no usage of VoLTE. Also, it doesnt matter if its on or off.

What do you mean “which language”? Human language, programming language?
This is 100% reproducible. Messages do not show up in the “Messages” app.
