Greeting Sailors!
I have a strange issue with Meecast - since I’ve updated my x10III to SF 5.1 I can not get the Meecast widgets runnin’.
Although I’ve installed the daemon and both of the widgets, none of 'em worx.
Am I the only one with that issue?
How shall I debug?
Yes.
Had the same issue and needed think about how I resolved it. 
But luckily I remembered.
After dealing with re-installation, complete de-installatuon, installation in fixed order and and and
I just installed the default SFOS weather app and voila!
Now you may have a useful/unneeded Weather App icon more but hey
(in earlier times they conflicted, now they only go together)
I thought I had written that already but may be wrong. At least we now have a dedicated thread for that.
Hmm, this doesn’t seem to answer the question of how you (re)enabled Meecast to work in Eventview…?
Hmm, same as above? 
Both start to work after installing default SFOS weather app.
Who’d have thought! That worked!
Removed all Meecast - daemon, eventview and Meecast itself.
Reinstalled daemon, eventview and Meecast itself and Weather app and presto!
Meecast showing now in Event view - X10 III 5.1
